Port Brocoby - Progress 8

Hooray! The city is back to life. The weekend is about over so the pictures of progress will slow down. : ) Just an excited builder. I hope you like this one. The city is starting to grow from its initial neighborhood.

Very nice so far! Lovely small village with a good mix and density! Also like the transition! The pics are looking a bit like Cities: Skylines... my suggestion is to change that :p
I am curious how you gonna fill the huge map with the road layout and the kind of city! Really impressive, I am staying tuned! (y)

@Inan Ugh.. I oversaturated the colors just testing out different looks.. I didn't realize I hit save.... lol. I didn't want to load up the game again and retake the picture.... they are just progress pictures, hopefully, to inspire more peeps to build again (*cough 'Inan' cough*). I am using Monty's Blue Storm mod, I love it, but sometimes in pictures, the detail isn't up to snuff.

I'm keeping to my roots and going with a post-British colonial look i.e. North American, Canada, New Zealand, Austrailian type city. The idea in my head is that this is a culture different than American, one where colonial heritage (themed neighborhoods) were not torn down. (Plus, I just love mods, and want to use them all, haha)

If you want my example inspiration. I used the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri, USA as a theme for my terraces and slopes. People don't realize that once you get past the grid, American cities are quite interesting and highly variable.
