  2. It's not long before we will be moving. The new hosting has been setup and the next thing to be done is to change the DNS. When it's changed it may take between 24 to 48 hours to take effect. During this time XLN will be closed so it can be backed up. When the new DNS takes effect, you will see a basic page with a message regarding the move. Hooray! The city is back to life. The weekend is about over so the pictures of progress will slow down. : ) Just an excited builder. I hope you like this one. The city is starting to grow from its initial neighborhood.

      Very nice so far! Lovely small village with a good mix and density! Also like the transition! The pics are looking a bit like Cities: Skylines... my suggestion is to change that :p
      I am curious how you gonna fill the huge map with the road layout and the kind of city! Really impressive, I am staying tuned! (y)

      @Inan Ugh.. I oversaturated the colors just testing out different looks.. I didn't realize I hit save.... lol. I didn't want to load up the game again and retake the picture.... they are just progress pictures, hopefully, to inspire more peeps to build again (*cough 'Inan' cough*). I am using Monty's Blue Storm mod, I love it, but sometimes in pictures, the detail isn't up to snuff.

      I'm keeping to my roots and going with a post-British colonial look i.e. North American, Canada, New Zealand, Austrailian type city. The idea in my head is that this is a culture different than American, one where colonial heritage (themed neighborhoods) were not torn down. (Plus, I just love mods, and want to use them all, haha)

      If you want my example inspiration. I used the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri, USA as a theme for my terraces and slopes. People don't realize that once you get past the grid, American cities are quite interesting and highly variable.
