CXL Platinum Game started crashing

    Hi there
    i wonder if anyone can help me. I used to play a pretty stable game (by FHI standards i mean), but recently the game started to crash on a regular basis.

    I play Platinum.
    New mods i placed are Florence Pack by Drazic and also Mr.X train station (no collision version) as well as a train line and secpol last residence buildings.
    I also have last version of UEP by Monty, which have replaced some of the previous placed decorations and placed some new ones.

    Also added to paks folder (but haven't placed them bus roads and farm roads from Drazic).

    What map are you using? I think this may be related to custom maps?

    Hi there Monty.

    At the Moment i'm playing in Chicago, an old custom map.
    I've been playing this city so i don't know how is the behaviour with others. Maybe i should try my other cities to see if the problem persists.

    Anyway, this city was fine until a while ago. I've played several months with no relevant problems.

    On the other hand, strange things happened with my maps for a long time. Actually, i think the game confuses them, because it identifies the same map with different ones when loading. But that never lead to seach regular crashes.

    Also i have now reached 1,5 million people in that city. I think i read something about bigger cities crashing more often. But not sure of this.

    Every map has a slot number corresponding to a point on the globe.
    Only two maps with the same slot number may be active at the same time.
    If you use the "restart" function on a map the game may reset to a different map image with the same slot number.
    Have you removed any maps from your paks folder recently?
    Or have you deleted any cities involved in trading?
    This may have confused the trading tables.

    Hi Skater, thanks for the reply.
    Actually i did reset all the trading. By mistake, i have deleted the file who gathers information about trading and i had to redo all the trades between cities and with Omnicorp.

    I don't recall removing any maps but i also deleted two cities involved in trading.
    But the game still worked pretty well for a while, even after this. The crashes are more recent.

    The log shows a lot of lines in the maps and trade features. So i guess your hint, as weel as Monty, might be right, if nothing is pointing to any mods.

    Any idea how could i revert this?

    If you are trading with another city you should stop trading with it before deleting it.
    The game occasionally updates the trading tables and if the city is no longer there it gets confused.
    I found trading with other cities caused all sorts of problems.
    I only trade with OmniCorp now,
