Cities XXL Go back to latest save?

    Hey people how I can get back to my latest save after my city crashed? I love to hear. :) I cannot enter my city after building a rail station. I wanna see my city proper working again so how can I get back to my latest save mannualy?

    Try looking here,

    C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\focus home interactive\Cities XXL\live\offline\solo\solosaveregion8map###\

    Can be a checkpoint folder and auto or just an auto folder.
    Think checkpoints are the manual saves from memory.

    Look for save.sav.old and rename to save.sav (rename the current save.sav to something else first)

    Think theres some kind of tutorial that deals with these files somewhere on XLN. I'll have to check.

    Well my latest save was in fact an autosave how can I remove my latest save?

    Do it the same way as a checkpoint save. Just rename the current save file and remove .old from one of the save.sav.old files and try loading the game.
    I went through my folders and looks like there is only ever two auto saves backed up .old and .old2
    Hopefully one of them will help you get back to a stable game
