    just read some reviews..
    the answer why it crashes xl/platinum version is that youve exported it with the new artist tool right? (the .fbx one, not the one for 3dsmax2012)
    it uses shaders that arent supported by xl/platinum
    only workaround is to export it with the old tool which supports all cx(x)l versions

    Yes, i did.

    Yes I can send you the model. But what for the next mods.... will you do the job every times ? I guess No. I must install max2012 (I'm using Max2014 to do the mods) and do the job my self, isnt-it ?
    Someone ;) already gave me the "mega" link to the 3ds max 2012 installation file...

    Lightmaps are not night lighting. CXL uses such wrong word for Ambient Occlusion. Here is an example of same model with and without Ambient Occlusion (lightmap in CXL):

    Sorry but I didn't confuse lightmap with illumination map. But may be I used it wrong. Surely for the LOD4, 3ds MAX 2014 does not accept the XL chaders !

    Hmm, a lot of space is wasted by those small polys. Anyway, if you want to really be sure if lightmap works, export another building without lightmap and then build both in CXL side by side.
    I can't really say if there is no lightmap in the photos, maybe it's very soft.

    So sorry! At this time I didn't do a Platinum version. There is two raisons for that. First I'm working with 3ds max version to recent to produce the Platinum version. And I don't have the Platinum game version. So I can't not test....
