Made with the new XXL Map Editor.
I kinda stumbled my way through the process but here it is.
It's the St Johns River delta @ the Atlantic Ocean in northeast Florida, where downtown Jacksonville would be roughly center map. Unfortunately, not enough room for both downtown and the beach.
It's mostly flat, not unlike NE Florida. The highest elevation in Jacksonville is 12' above sea level.
Lots of palm and oak trees. The shore lines need a lot more work.
It's still in the testing phase. For my personal use and not likely to be distributed.

Ah, yes; Jacksonville. I used to live in FL and I'm kinda familiar with the area. I almost even moved there once. The downtown area is particularly interesting with the bridge and the view from across the river. Also passed through the area a few times.

    Shore lines are improved.
It originally had to many "spikes" caused by lighting artefacts in the heightmap.
For anyone interested or don't know already:
    w/Grey scale hieghtmaps:
    R:03 G:03 B:03 = 10 meters elevation in the editor.
    R:06 G:06 B:06 = 20 meters elevation in the editor.
    etc...
