Hi all, here you may find some posts about my upcoming mods.

I have been working a few mods recently and will try and post some screenshots of them every now and then.

Feel free to tell me what you think bad or good. I don't mind any comments.

This is a recent idea I had, recreate a nicer wheat farm based on my older wheat farm mod. I have created new detailed textures and made some minor alterations to my round hay bale, so far I think it's looking not to bad? A lot better than the in-game farm anyways :). I want to also create a second farm with smaller rectangle bales, maybe lucerne field with slightly dark shade.

That's nice. Is it only available as agriculture industry or as plaza decoration too?

Looking very good! Looks like a real farm. :)

Also like the idea of the smaller hay bales; I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks everyone, @cityguru what do you mean? I'm creating some new one atm.

Here is another version with different color shade with smaller rectangle hay bales.

hrm having some known problems - when zooming out far they go a bit bright and change to crap. Alll I can think of its related to texures as my other farms don't freak out like this on the right. very odd and sucks balls.
I am using pretty much the same class/layout files to. just loading new

    <Detail>Data/Gfx/Landscape/Textures/Ground/wheatDetail.tga</Detail>

    Anyone with any suggestions?

Do making a plaza/zone texture requires Max? LODS?
    This is definitely L4 problem.

you could let other people test it to see if its just at your computer... if not maybe just darken the l4 map a bit?
or maybe its just another weird shader bug in this bugging game engine
but honestly, im a mod-noob and no idea whats causing it :p
anyway, thats a nice addition with those wheat bales (y)

thanks MrX, the farm ground works similar to a decoration ground so has nothing to do with any 3d objects :)
I have/am testing another without any furniture/objects, still no dif.

prb not Ole :), anyways I think I fixed that brightness issue when zooming out, I adjusted the details map to be lighter and the diffuse maps to be darker.
Here is the #3 farm with just plain ploughed field.

Now you're talking, nicko2u. That is outstanding in its field. It's perfectly realistic - very nice.

Hi Nicko, just downloaded this mod. Great stuff.
Would you considerer making some wine grapes farms? They are spread all over the world: Europe, Australia, South America or California.
Maybe some white and red wine options.
