    Breaking news!
The first building has passed the test, and works properly :)
I'll handle the other 4 buildings soon. (Other colours are orange, yellow, rose and blue)

As you can see, they can be placed wall-to-wall. I'm thinking I may create a wider version like that apartment building, probably in next projects. We need mods though :sneaky: :p
    cxl_screenshot_albuz_2.jpg
Solar panels were added too, but it seems they didn't fit on the roof and I didn't add another furnitures except these panels :notworthy: What do you recommend?

You can test the mod in the other versions, the file was attached below.

    Nice! My advice is:
    • Different shops textures for the other buildings
    • Solar panels: you just have to rotate and to lean the panels in 3ds Max if you keep them.
    Good luck!

Looks really nice and generic (which is cool since that makes it super usable)! (y)

    Some thoughts for furnitures

    • Add some chairs and tables on some of the balconies
    • If possible, also add some AC units/satellites (if available ofc :p )on some balconies to make it look less “new” :p
    • Perhaps make a a version with dirtier walls and roof -> even more usability
Anyway, looks great so far! :D

The mod looks great! I downloaded the beta mod, but not able to find the building itself in the game menu. Where do you think the building is localised?

Hey Lokentaz, thanks for these advices mate. I will try the other shop textures. Regarding the solar panels, yup, they are kept as well :)
Luckily, I'll work on them today. Tasty food needs some good preparing, I can say that :D

    Thank you Peter.
Ah, you made me remember to add other furnitures. AC units are essential in the apartmens though, especially southern cities in Turkey like Antalya, Mersin etc. :D

There's a problem about dirty textures. I'm kind of incompetent about editing the lightmap/ao map anyway by photoshop softwares. And I think there's no tutorial of editing the lightmap, it would be great if it was prepared
Nevertheless, I will give a try to make a "detailed" lightmap.

It is located in custom content buildings (the lightning icon) > T1 unskilled > exceptional (star icon) :)
However I'm gonna edit the building today, there are many things to be edited. :bored:

Thanks to god, I have started the modding again. Just making some shipping containers, though they aren't detailed adequtaely. I'm thinking to design them as a furniture which has no-collison box and adjustable height options. There are four different coloured containers in the image, but other colours will be added.

An update: Just solved the lightmap issue, added some dirty texture on it. Front side looks a bit darker, I don't know why. Not perfect but it should do a work.

I will put the files later, cause other buildings are waiting for me :D

Just done another one. Mixed the lightmap with dirt texture and applied on the building. Here is the result, but I ain't satisfied completely. :notworthy:
    Your opinions?

Hmmh, what about some white or ochre colour instead of this rather pink tone?

Well, I already used white colour and posted it here, but I have never tried ochre colour before. Nice idea, K :)
The main thing I ain't satisfied is the lightmap with dirt textures. Seems I'm not very good at creating detailed lightmap like master modders. In addition to this, my mods look a bit lousy because I cannot do it like them

I think your dirt texture isn't so bad.

Merci Lokentaz. I applied the dirt decal on the lightmap. As a result, this image shown up.
I haven't interested in this project for a while due to real life stuff, and that project kind of bored me. Either I go on this project and finish it or I start another one. So confused

I think the dirt texture is not that bad. But you shouldn't lose your interest, as we need your mods! :sneaky:

I mean, you can publish the mods in the way they are before you move on to another mod. That's my humble opinion.
