    @Helio Lopes , there are video tutorials that show how to avoid those
    crossing problems, you could have googled for this, but apparentely, you were too lazy...

    @ kipate: I've tried it many times and many angles and it doesn't work for me.
    At best, I can only get one track to intersect.
    Is there some type non collision mod you may be using that I don't have?
    I already use:
    zzzzzz_Timofp_Flexibility_Mod_v1.0
    ZZZ_hwy_allow_intersection

    Thanks kipate, I'll give it a try in a test city.

    Another Note:
    It behaves erratic and crashes the game on any custom, full resource map when you try to build a road connection or get close to the purple band.
    A crash can be avoided and real connection can be established by using a short section of any road and then connecting the tracks to it.

    Yeah, in the XL version, Clemech4 mentioned not to use too many intersections of that rails...
    I guess you will need to back up even more often^^

    The Small Collision Box Mod doesn't work for making switches either and doesn't do well in XXL overall. It creates a serious lag.
    Some unexpected, but cool, results though.
    Images below depict a "small road"(no collision) upgraded to "rail", which loses all rails and crossties, and then back to "small road" again.

    The images above are kind of misleading. For attempts at making the switches I only used a road just long enough to make the curve intersect.

    Until problems with being too close to the map edge are fixed this mod is sadly unusable. Also I didn't see any kind of switches in XXL version, just the track. Plus I found I couldn't make a tunnel, I was hoping to use this with the rail station in the Paris Pack and run rails away underground to avoid running them near a map edge and have the rail lines conveniently disappear.

    By "switches" I mean manually overlapping the tracks/roads over each other and aligning individual tracks to create the illusion of track switchyards.

    Hard to tell from that video picture but it looks now like someone used a road to make that switch-looking connector. I'll have to see if I can replicate the "illusion". Plus I wish I could make a road tunnel and switch it to rail to make the rail tracks look like they lead away underground.

    I watched the video and it told me nothing of value. Since I can't make an underground railroad this mod is of no value to me. Thanks for the suggestion but I need some real help in figuring out how to make a rail track disappear underground. Sadly the rail aspect of XXL is seriously lacking. A shame since in the Paris Pack is an awesome rail station transportation building and I'm trying to figure out how to make some rail tracks lead away underground so I don't have run rail near a map edge.
