    You wouldn't happen to have the original tags files would you?

    I didn't backup the original and it seems this mod is making my game ctd

    Could be another mod but it recently happened after downloading this file

    reinstall uim, it will overwrite this tags.cfg

    but actually there is no reason why this should cause a crash for XL

    Are the filter tags in there from XXL?

    if not might be good idea to add them, this would make a lot more XXL mods work in XL.

    His roads are for XXL so I didn't think the tags would be added to the XL tag file (unless you know something I don't and he's going to do a XL version :) )

    yeah, originally made for xxl, but because its just a tags thingy its no big deal to make it work with xl.. so v1.1 works great with xl and the latest cfg update, already tested ;)
    was the same with monorail mod by altiris, just two little adjustments more in files, but everything else was just a tag thingy
    at all, if its not a shader issue (damn u fhi for ur "new exporter tool for xxl only" :finger: ) everything is possible for both game versions with minor changes
    old xl (not good quality mods) are a little harder to adjust since xxl is a little more susceptible (crashes instantly) to failures in files than xl (crashes from time to time :D ) is

    That's good news for players who feel left out. I didn't try Drazic's farm roads in fear of crashing XL. The surge of XXL mods finally pushed me to change to XXL but I most likely will still make the odd thing for XL though.

    sorry, thats not a tags related issue
    if i remember correctly it can help to delete prototypesdb.bin file in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2012\live\data\config (not sure, but its worth a try)

    yes, but everything else than "...... check tags.cfg" is not related to tags.cfg file
    looks more like a corrupted save, but honestly i have absolutely no clue what this f* weird game is doing once again
