    Hi guys

    @skullz613
    @ronrn

    @The Funky Monk

    In Cities XXL - MAP EDITOR - file material.xlm

    1 / Here on the following screen capture I'm on the rendering mode "Material Edition" and I edited the textures of my future map.
    upload_2017-11-27_16-8-5.png

    2/
    Then I switch to the "Normal" rendering mode and I click on the button bake diffuse map,
    See the screenshot below to see the result.
    upload_2017-11-27_16-12-54.png

    Why rendering only uses the texture of layer 0?

    Thanks for your help

    It seems like you just input a lvl file and then edit the matierial texture directly, somehow that lvl file inputed only as a basic model for a new map, you have to input a r32 file to shape the terrain before editting the texture.

    This is how it works

    Inport a lvl file as a besic map

    Then inport the r32 file of your future map(Or 8bit gray-scale image)

    Edit the terrain, save the .land file of your future map.

    03.jpg

    switch to material mode, click on the[bake normal map] first and then is the [bake diffuse map] button, you will see the texture is shaped normally

    04.jpg

    Now go to the Material Edition mode, adjust the texture.

    06.jpg

    Click [bake diffuse map] button after finishing the edition of texture

    07.jpg

    Switch to normal map , the texture is already shaped normally.

    To be honest I dont really understand how exactly this program work, somehow all you need to do is follow this procedure XD

    Remain in "Material Edition" mode.
    click "Bake normal map" first.
    then click "bake diffuse map".
    click "Save Material".
    Then you can go to "Normal" view if you wish. I rarely use this mode.
    Be sure to go to "landscape" and "Save Work Binary" next and after any/every time you edit something.

    Intéressant. De mon côté j'ai essayé de trouver cet éditeur mais je ne le trouve pas. Steam me dit qu'il est déjà installé mais je ne le trouve pas du tout. Bizarre.
