    No problem, pauliaxz, I will be waiting patiently, and maybe someone else
    was willing to mod them.
    And don't put too much work onto your shoulders!
    New trucks sound like a good idea, maybe you will still find
    some nice model with polygon count low enough.

    i think i can do one (or more) models from this site.. as long as they have a diffuse map (cause i dont like creating textures, and searching for them with my ultra slow internet is a pain) and dont have more than 10k triangles...
    this one for example looks pretty nice

    Hey, it's the same building, why it shows 9000 triangles for you while for me it's 3900

    yeah thats weird, there is only one object in the scene x"lod1" which has 3900 but in total it has 9k o_O

    I don't know... for me it's 3900 in total.., maybe you merged this building together with your building when importing.
    Use Select by Name to find out

    Woah, seems like I was able to attract some modders...
    Those shy creatures that only get out of their caves in the night,
    and who regularly try to avoid making too much noise,
    because otherwise, their noise attracts the players, some
    never full creatures :D :D

    Tried to figure some ore interesting houses on 3D archive,
    again, I don't know whether they fit the polygonal limits, that's where I would need
    the modders' feedback; in case you don't see the building directly, maybe go to 3d Archive,
    copy the building number (below the link), and paste it into the search option of 3d Archive,
    that should work...

    Thanks for the tip. I've seen that in a 3ds max tutorial, but totally forgotten about it then.


    Back on-topic, I might do something with the textures from that strange square thing in the future. As to the poly count, I agree with everyone else. A high poly model is a "nice" way to see if your head fits in between the letters in your keyboard.... I meant...exercise yourself, learn how 3ds max Works, but to reduce poly count is an exhaustive process.

    I've made the mistake to chose some high poly models (soccer fields) just to see what I could do and I don't even have started searching for textures yet, whereas if I had chosen a low-med poly model I could have hold an even course.

    On the other hand, this model in particular would fit very well with Cities Xl base models. Poly count is high but it's feasible. It's worth it.
