I am sorry if i am posting this in wrong section, but i couldn't find any better place to post this thread so i decided to post it here. In this thread you can post what you are listening to. It can be any kind of music, as long as it is not too alternative;)

Some times I listen to the music from the 60's.

The 60's as in the 1860's.

I don't find Cage's music stimulating enough, I prefer something with more...

So while we're on the subject of music, does anybody here happen to use Last.fm at all?

Hey Supersnake thanks for posting those clips, I'd never heard of Stuck In The Sound until now.
I particularly like Shoot Shoot so now I'm going to spend a little time on the net to listen to some of their other tracks.

I'm glad you like it. The song "Brother" is more famous.

There are many good rock bands in France but they aren't very well known outside of France. Even when they sing in english.

Unfortunately that is something that happens to a lot of bands. :(
I like music and of course I listen to bands from the English speaking countries but I also listen to bands from Russia, Iceland, Japan, Korea, Germany and other places because for me, it doesn't matter if I don't know the language, it only matters that the song is good.
But I have only been able to do that because I can use the internet to find out about bands from other countries or I can find a forum were people talk about bands from their countries. If I didn't have the internet I would never know about some of these great bands.

Ah, talking about unknown small bands. Here is a lineup of a small festival I will visit next weekend, I guess you know none of them.

    Сплин -- Англо-русский словарь (Splin - Anglo-Russkij Slovar')
And in English... Spleen - Anglo-Russian Dictionary

For those of you who speak Russian, please forgive my use of Google Translate

In Honor of Doctor Martin Luther King (today is a National Holiday in United States in his honor), and his "I have a Dream" speech here is a mix of the speech done by Moodswings, Spiritual High Part III. Part I and II should be listened to as well. It's actually a continuous track from Part I, Part 2 (State of Independence with Chrissie Hynde) and Part III.

    Part I

    Part II (State of Independence)

Part III (Doctor Martin Luther King Speech)

There is much to remember in light of the Furgeson, and Charlie Hebdo attacks that freedom of expression, and tolerance are sorely lacking in our world.
