Work in progress: The island has its own small sewage water treatment plant and its own power substation.
And with Drazicdesign's fantastic new walls, a lot of new ideas have come up :)

If you look closely, you will see an underground garage :D

@kipate, I couldn't find the underground garage yet just because I fell in love with those perfectly rounded pedestrian paths. I wish I was able to build pedestrian paths that perfect. Gorgeous! :b38:

Thank you for your new photos,
I love this diligent, meticulous work! eh eh,
    I found the underground garage.
A little clue, it is on the first image.

@Miguel, thank you! But you should be able to build such pedestrian paths yourself! There is mod by Pepino that adds a no-collision version of the small ped paths by secpol. You can then upgrade them to common 5m paths.

You first need the XXL version of secpol's ped paths (XXL_sp_pedpath_t1.patch); then you install the NOCB version, too, and you will find the paths within the no-collision street menu.

@Drazicdesign Parking spaces are the things that plague me most when it comes to creating a business district :D I will have to use more overground parking garages^^

Oh my God, I think I'm getting old. I still can't find the underground garage. And for me are only the 3 narrowest gray ped paths as No CB available.:LOL:

Below the soccer field in the first image you'll find a road leading to a garage under a white office building ;)
Actually, you will only see the entry, but I did place parking lots and stabilizing walls in there, as well as lifts - everything eye-candy, but I found it a nice experiment :D

And you can always upgrade the ped paths to 5m paths. Or at least, you should be able to^^
Also, maybe try this mod, it works fine with XXL:

Finally, I found the underground garage. Well done :)
BTW, Thanks for the Patches. Very appreciated. (y)

Still a lot of work to do, but to me, the skyline resembles a grown American city. And, for all the skeptics, there are lots of (parking) lots ;)

Excellent skyline! As usual, this is a great job.(y)
Even if you have made a very nice underground car park, I like the atmosphere that emerges from your first image.

    Thanks a lot, guys :)
@Drazicdesign, I finally could make use of your bus lane bridges that have _no_ streetlights (y) ;)
Also @brendonwright1989, thanks a bunch for your inspirational work on custom-made glass constructions; as you can see, it helped me decorating that ugly parking garage :D
And this focus on cars is one of the few obstacles when it comes to building an American city (or probably an Australian city as well). Either I need to build lots of parking lots at ground level, or I need to build multi-storey garages or underground garages.

I hope one can recognize the way of the artery ring road meanwhile :D
    gamescreen0031.jpg
I still need parking lots. There should be at least 30,000 parking lots. So, far, I'm probably at 7,000

Between these two images, you have made great progress in the deployment of road and real estate infrastructure!
I look forward to the sequel now.

Hahahaha, it was not that much progress, next time, it will be more, I promise! And thank you (y) By the way, it's the first time that I put so much effort at such a large scale into the road layout before placing the actual buildings of a district. Usually, I'm either doing both at the same time, or I just build a bit more of the road layout. But maybe, it's the right approach for American cities, first the roads, then the people :D

I was in such a need of parking lots, I had to create some eye-candy garage entries :D
