a well kept secret is that kipate works for some intelligence service
on the other hand, a lot of pictures posted for guess, the google image search engine gives immediate response. Be careful with that, please.
Several times I found the city in seconds but I have not answered if someone did not seem fair play.

That does not detract merit for kipate, is enough the pentium he has in his brain

 

You can always use Google Streetview to take the pics so that it won't appear in the results most of the time. That's what we suggested at the old site, if you don't want your pic to be in the Google Image results, you should use Google Streetview but that applies only if the city is covered by it unfortunately.

 

Hey, you can also use snipping tool and cut off some pieces of actual photos,
then Google will not find it as well. Did that for Kazan e.g. ...
And well, Möebius, I had some times when I did not answer, though knowing the city, too,
and there are still plenty of cities around

Yeah Pamascus, you know StreetView point of view is always 1-3 meters over the land and mostly at noon. Unforgetables aerial views or sunset landscapes does not reach (at the moment).
Yeah kipate, I don't posted for guess StreetView pics, uploading one second and third pics for hints and sometimes it has taken some time to guess, it was hard to believe. As a request, could you post a photo not using StreetView if possible, please? Thanks

 

I hope I don't sound offensive because that is not my intention but let me say something...we can get a picture of a city in any way we want, whether from online images or Google Streetview as long as it can tell something about the city and follow the rules. In the old XLN, we guess the city without regards on how the the picture or screenshot of the mystery city was taken. It doesn't matter how you portray the city, whether aerial or from the streets, as long as it tells us something about the city that can make at least some us able to guess it.

So, who wants to continue? I don't care how you will take the pic of the city, let's just keep this thread alive.

The building with the antenna looks like the Riberian tower in Brisbane. Can't place the bridge. Is it Brisbane?
