    Yeah thought about grape vines ages ago even tried a basic version but it looked crap, shame their wasn't an animated in game vine we could use.

    Highway Interchange

    Who of us still use the in game highway interchanges?

    Anyways I am again and noticed an issue when I tried to place some trees near it. What I found is you can't.
    You have an ugly rectangle around it- minus you cant plant trees or other deco's.

    Anyways I think I found a fix maybe. The only thing so far is the ground texture will always be that of the map base for the interchange. Which sucks but at least you have trees :)

    Hey Nicko: two things.
    About the vineyards it seems several people feel they would be very welcome. But of course it would need to look well in game. Maybe there will be a solution further on up the road.

    About the interchanges, there is already a no collision version. I don't recall which mod is it, but i have them, once limitless button is activated. They are not perfect. It allows placing buildings next to the interchanges and also areas. The grass will fill the square, but many times that area doesn't assume the trees. Usually i end up placing some individual ones.

    Just saying this because you should have in mind there is already a mod and if you are about to spend time on your version maybe it's a good thing to look up the errors persisting in that one, so that you can improve what is already available.

    I'm not really sure, but looking at my paks folder i find a patch named OKC_no collision. Maybe it's that one.

    thats a much needed and great idea nicko :)
    i only use the ingame intersection/highways because of the verrazano narrows bridge mod.. now it wont look that ugly anymore (y)

    Looks great like how real it looks, would you be willing to do a beach plaza as well with like umbrellas and chairs and such. I notice alot of maps don't have a lot of beach texture to them

    howdy was playing game with my new farms, Started to use the forest filler and noticed the ground was way to green for my climate.
    So I created a new version with dryer ground areas. Aussie style :)

    Here is a quick screenshot showing the ingame green forest along side my new dryer forest area. What do you guys think? anyone else interested?
    Need more stuff for hot drier climates I think.

    Its very very welcome Nicko.
    Always felt the lack of such an option. Sometimes forest areas are way too green for certain ambiences.
    There are a couple of alternatives in Lex's greenery mod, but with very specific kind of trees that also don't fit to all climates, for axample palm trees.
    Your forest mod has a wider range. Such a terrain alternative would be awesome.

    As Luis Diogo said , you shut use many Lex Total Greenery Bushes , Flowers and Trees instead of yust 1 tree and thats it. Otherwise it looks not realistic enough for a dry forest. But you're start looks nice for more park like area's. Not forest. Thats nice and useable to ;-) And hopefully you gonna build one without trees to. :LOL:
