    Hey guys!

    I hate making requests because I have so many of them... But I'll let one slide because I'm eager to build a sprawling mid-west style city.

    I'd love for the map to relatively flat as in real life, but I need to be able to build sunken highways. The land around the river could in real life is not very low level so this map is a good fit! Sort of like this:

    I have grabbed a google image of a 10km square and will see what i can do.

    Hi, I have started this map but have been pretty busy in life with a huge painting job. It's raining today so I will have a chance to get on my PC and see where I was up to.

    It took me most of the day but I've got it finished. I managed to make banks along the river. Its not exactly as the real map of minneapolis like around some of the lakes etc... still should be a good map to build on though. I have made a normal map and a google overlay version. Both maps are made with 2048x2048 colormaps to keep the details good along the rivers edges.
    Ive only tested them in XXL so far but should work fine in earlier XL versions.
    I cant post the maps yet as I have only mobile internet. I will post them probably in the next couple of days when I can get to a internet cafe.

    Sorry I have not posted it yet. I have not been out much. I have topped up my data on my phone so have a gig to use so will try uploading it using my phone.

    I have uploaded it! Sorry it took so long. It was a challange posting it using my phone but I got there in the end. Hope you enjoy the map.

    No problem at all, I haven't had time to play it yet, but judging by the pictures and other peoples reactions I didn't wait in vain!! :-D It looks amazing, thanks for taking the time to do this.

    Don't be surprised to see a CJ with this map sometime in the future... :)
