awayford市曾经是A国一座重要的海外港口。一百多年前殖民者来到这里，把它改造成了港口，在日后的世界大战中发挥了巨大作用，被称作“不沉的航空母舰”。可惜的是，岛上的土著居民随着岁月，已经渐渐消失，文化也没能留下。

后来，awayford市在巨变中获得独立，成为了一个城邦共和国。虽然失去了强大的A 国庇护，但是awayford市凭借其果断多变的手段，和延续下来的强大经济军事实力，使得自身得以在复杂的形势中生存下来。现在，awayford市在原有的港口和工业基础上，发展起了金融，使得这个新生的城邦，再一次获得了强劲的经济动力。

全市分为东区和西区两区，总人口186909人，通用语言为中文（不要问我为什么）。
东区辖老城社区、下城社区、渔湾社区和椰树林社区，也是共和国议会与政府所在地。该区以住宅区和商业区为主，另外全市的大学集中于此区。
西区辖三水社区、新世纪社区、红滩社区、机场社区和港口特别区。该区是机场和港口的所在地，另外也是awayford市近年来声名远扬的新世纪CBD所在地。该区集中了大量重工业、制造业、高科技行业和金融业，虽然人口只有全市的30%，总产值却占了全市的75%。
