    Hello there XL Nation.

    Let me introduce my CJ. This is my only island city in the game, its name is Altera and it was build for St. Martin City Building Competition on the website. It's inspired from many real-life mediterranean towns in Turkey, Spain etc. Thanks to all modders and the participants for their suggestions in the competition.

    For your information: I'm not able to launch my city anymore, because my XL has gone due to bad game-engine or something :( I'm gonna upload the photos which I've taken so far before the issue showed up. So, no updates will be published.

    Altera Island is one of the small islands in Loftus Bay, located on southern part of Ocean Coast State. The island is part of Southern Lands Province and it is a county. Altera Town is capital of the eponymous county. Main economy resources of the island are agriculture & viniculture, fishing, tourism and water sport events.

    The island approximately has a number of 48000 inhabitants, and a one-third of people in the island resides in Altera. In summer, the population grows up to 200000 people.

    Became popular in 1960's when its potential was discovered. Many small and mid-size touristic facilities,summer houses, marinas, a trade port and a municipal airfield has been built in this time period. In these days, Altera is the one of the hubs for alternative tourism and agriculture in the country.

    What a great place! I really like the holiday feeling of your island with all the beaches, camp sites, historical buildings... and the marinas are excellent! I remember you building the airport during the contest and I thought it was just perfect for a small island like this =) I would definitely come for a visit ^^

    Fabulous work!
    First of all, congratulations on that main marina in Altera Town, it's simply lovely, and hyperrealistic! And that view from the cafe onto the marina is astonishing! Mighty good job!

    I do also like the camping area, as well as the nature areas. And the airport quite fits such a small island, nice realisation. And I like that you kept out the huge airplanes that could anyways not have landed there.

    The only critique is about the industrial harbour. First, you say that the island's population almost quadruples in summer. And then you have this large camping area. But how can the people get their cars over there if the harbour does not have a ferry terminal of adequate size? ;)

    But that's just a minor point, and I think you would have placed it there if the game hadn't crashed :)

      Thank you for the review, Kipate. I built those town with pleasure and love.Finally, I built the town as I dreamt. Also, I should thank you for the airport suggestion, on the competition thread :)

      About industrial port, yeah, that's not good. As you said on the review, I'd like to expand the port a bit. Probably I might build another city or town that has a decent industrial port, if I can get into it.
