To keep the mountains at a decent height, I did not flatten the map to much. The waters is a bit low along the coast line but should not cause any problems.
For the map overlay I used a Bing map because Google Maps are not up to date with some areas.

    Installation
Put the .patch into the Pak folder of your Cities Xl
Google maps have GM in the patch name.

Build on the Google map and then swap it for the normal one when you have finished.
NOTE: To see the map overlay better you need your graphic settings to be on high and turn off the Atmospheric Display.

As normal, delete the trees in the water.
TIP: Right click the bulldozer thumbnail and move the slider up to increase the bulldozer size

    Installation Pre-requisite:

the topography is just wrong, Beirut is a hilly city where slopes emerge just after the coast line

Your welcome to make a better map! To replicate every little hill is impossible. I could of put hills everywhere but then people would say its to hilly to build on.
