Ploppables Piers XXL version 2015-02-15

Small piers

    Here are some ploppable marina piers. They are low poly and have all the textures applied.

    BE CAREFUL before placing them in your city because they require different road heights. So try placing one to see if the height is OK before placing any others (you don't want to layout your entire marina just to find out the road is too high or too low). You will see under the in game pics spoiler that some of them are a bit too high and some are a bit too low...

    This is a great mod. I just have a question. I can't seem to rotate the boats nicely to align them with the piers, they just rotate in roughly 8 directions, and if one of those is not perfectly parallel with the pier, it looks bad. Is there a way around it? :) Thanks!

      Nope! If you want to place boats next to the piers, the piers have to be at one of those 8 angles... That's just how the game works. Only roads and things that snap to roads can be in whatever angle you want.

    Shanghai snake (germans) says something about no option to lower or higher the piers so they go under water
    or something like that

    Great mod that I've used a lot in CXL and will use in XXL.

    FYI, The comment "keine höhen einstellung. teilweise sind die piers nur unter wasser. leider so nicht zu gebrauchen" is in German. It translates as "no height adjustment. in part, the piers are under water. unfortunately unusable."

    Too bad the reviewer's lack of understanding the mod instructions resulted in a one star rating. This is a 5 star mod.
