CXL Platinum [steam] App Crash Problem!

    Hello:
    I bought Cities XL Platinum last week in Steam; and it worked perfectly for a couple of days. However, whenever I try to play the game now, it crashes as soon as I clic "Play" in the Main Menu. I have already installed the "protection patch for Cities XL Platinum", checked the game cache, deleted the cities xl file in appdata; I'm positively sure I'm using my NVIDIA Video Card and I've restarted my PC and reinstalled the game but it doesn't seem to solve the matter. What can I do?

    As it's a steam version it will be a pain to do but have you tried reinstalling?

    Did you removed all of CitiesXL under Steam/steamapps/common before reinstalling?
    Otherwise steam assumes most of AppData/.../CitiesXL is intact.
    The shadercache is the only part that ever needs clearing.
    The rest is your configuration.

    What configuration? I've already followed tech support's instructions to configure NVIDIA card, yet they've left me hanging. Anybody please help?
