After some time away because of my studies I want to share something i discovered which solves one of my biggest frustrations when building cities. Some will already now the trick in this post, but not everyone does and surely not everyone can make the changes to the game code (they aren't hard though if you have basic knowledge).

Description
Anyway, this mod tweaks the placement rules drasticly so when placing roads and buildings you can choose the location completely free, your objects don't move with 'shocks'. The video below explains it a bit better. This is especially handy when using non collision buildings and you have an eye for detail like me (i.e. you want the walls to move together nice and don't overlap
Installation and compatibility
Just install it like any other patch, it has to be loaded last, that's why there are multiple zzz's in front of the file name, keep it this way.
It changes the placement for all buildings, original and custom content.
It is compatible with all other mods as far as I know, Some other mods also tweak the placement rules, but in a less drastic way like the exellent RHM mod, this file needs to be loaded afther the placement rules of RHM but won't break RHM functionallity.
Advanced
If you can code yourself, you can tweak the mod by adjusting these parameters
Code:<GridStep>x</GridStep> <SnapLineDistance>x</SnapLineDistance> <SnapBuildingDistance>x</SnapBuildingDistance>
- Installation Pre-requiste(s):
- None
