Well done Kip!! I thought that I'd already made a review but it seems that I forgot.
I like the scale of the city and the way you've used green areas and highways to disaggregate it instead of having a single and compact urban core.
And Medici Garden is a remarkable piece of work.

what a charming city, with ancient architecture and a good place for tourists, streets with small businesses, where tourists get their money, everything pleases me on the beach, a good place to live it all makes the city unique

Author's Response
Thank you a lot, it took a lot of freetime to create all the little things along the coastline :)

- 5/5,
hey! Arenzano is such an amazing city, i love all the details, i would like a lot to visit it :) I wanted as well to ask you where I can find the stone terrain as you can see in the first Medici Garden picture, and where I can find the houses that already come with the own game that have red roof, as in photo 14 and 19 I think. Thanks a lot and keep going! :)

Author's Response
Thank you for your kind words, it was a lot of work :)
The mod that changes the roof coulour can be found on the first page of the project thread of DrazicDesign, here is the link:

What do you mean with stone terrain? The mountainside is indeed part of the game terrain, I adjusted the gamma values within Photoshop, so it looks a bit different :'D

Wonderful city, nice composition, lots of great details.
I can feel how much you devote yourself to this city.
I even felt a shame that poor graphic quality of this game couldnt make this city better enough!-

Excellent custom made construction and impressive details. I am very happy to see that you are among the very few who have built protected harbor. You're getting really good.

Author's Response
Thank you a lot :)
Indeed, the harbour was one of my favourite parts to play on. Well, I think the 3D View in Google Maps has helped me a lot :D

- 5/5,
stunning detail, do you have any aerial photos I always like to see the urban sprawl and how a city suits the landscape.
-
Author's Response
Hey, thx for your kind words. It took me a long time to build some suburbs. But so far, I have not made much progress with the city due to an error which has the streets appear white when I zoom out. So far, nothing has helped, and it is really frustrating.

@Kipate I'm Italian and I love my country. your town reflects the typical characteristics of an Italian-style between history and environmental culture

Grazie mille! It is always nice to hear such appraisal from the people who actually live in the country :)

Great and realistic history part as alwasy, very nice details built with dedication, very good ideas all over the city. The Medici garden is very Special and original. Of Course 5 stars, i hope you will let us watch theis great CJ...don't delete it :-)

Author's Response
Hey Inan, nice to see you around :-)
So you read also the history part? Good to know that it caught the attention of at least some folks, it is the hardest part to me. Sometimes you have ideas for your city, and them you start thinking about the idea and you notice that it would make sense in any other city, but not the one you are building at the moment.
Thanks for your kind words, I indeed invested some time into the construction of this city. Actually, I have to say that I had - generally spoken, not just your review - hoped for some more appraisal for the "minor" things that make that city looking so vivid, at least in my eyes. I mean, the garden is quite appealing, seeing the reviews below, but to me, it is not the defining structure of the city, there are other structures that "form" the city, for instance the old town hill monuments (castle, hotel, mausoleum), the harbour, the long esplanades along the coastline, the irregular road layout within the old town area, the modern expressway system, all this is much more defining in my opinion. The garden as a structural monument could easily be exchanged with something else...
So, don't take it as a criticism, I still appreaciate your review a lot. But when you hear about one single certain structure for the seventh or eighth time, it may be irritating.

Hey, thank you for the review :)
The garden actually needs some more details, I will try to pay more attention to details in the next city project.
Mr.X² actully said that he wanted to use the 5th photo for the front page, as I would be some clickbait ( 點擊 餌) :D
