Sights, Landmarks, & Monuments of Capitol Square III: St. Capistrus Monument Circle

Along SW Capitol Avenue on the south west end of Capitol Square is St. Capistrus Monument Circle where stands the St. Capistrus Monument which stands to commemorate St. Capistrus, who played a key role in constructing Avalon's moral structure based on his godly/religious beliefs. It was also originally by St. Capistrus and his authority granted by the government that at least two of the most infamous churches in Avalon such as Church of Christ by St. Capistrus and St. Capistrus cathedral, were founded and constructed as he was one of the key leaders of the church union of Avalon which regulated all the churches in Avalon to ensure there was no contamination of sound doctrine or religious code practiced within the churches and that the church body of Avalon would thus be one in harmony. His monument stands in the center of an eye-catching stone gazebo lined with and surrounded by beautiful flora which is centered in a round about at the intersection of SW. Capitol Ave. and Capitol Square Blvd. Though the government of Avalon does strongly condemn and shun idolatry, they do however consider it important to recognize the religious background of the city and it figures who played a key role in its establishment and influence.
