This city has a high quality of life. So much park areas surrounding the city offers a quiet and charming city. I love the waterfront of Adelaide river the most.

A message to congratulate you, for your work on this new city.
    All I braid,
I particularly like the way you took care of the choice of buildings in their positioning, to ensure a quick transition between districts!

    It's nice!

    5/5,
I really like how you came out with the density of the city in the CBD and in the suburbs. I also really like how you built the Train Station. You've broken out of the XL Nation patterns. The parks are also well done, some even better done like Kings Square. But what I like the most is what you did with the curved bridge. I think I looked at him for more than 20 minutes. You have other beautiful things built that I could describe but it would take me too much time and unfortunately I still have to write to you what I don't like.

The first thing is not really bad I could even overlook it. The place where the river flows into the lake. Where there are many yachts, Before the Godwill Bridge (which is near the lake). Although the building and the harbor it turned out perfectly, I would have liked the river to be freer, to see how it widens before flowing into the lake.

Now the worst thing. The transition from the CBD to the suburbs. It's too perfect and you've used too many parks. To have 4-6 story buildings on one side of the road and forest on the other side.

In the picture "Constance City as seen from the west in the late afternoon." For example, I would have liked to have built multi story buildings up to the highway. After the highway, 1.5 - 2 blocks a combination of multi-story buildings and houses.

After that I would have wanted to see only houses or parks.

    Let me see the transition.

You built a superb CBD, but for me you didn't highlight it.

It seems strange. Why do you call it CBD when it ends up in the forest? Where is the city between the CBD and the end of the city?

    Cheers

      Heya!
Thanks for your feedback. I will eventually infill some areas between the main grid (City Centre area) and the parkland boundary with smaller apartment complexes, however due to a lack thereof in the game, I have used predominately outlying business/small rise offices and carpark dominated shopping areas on the city fringe. I try and be careful not to use too many of the same/obvious buildings.

I really want to ensure the CBD area is not shrouded by a build-up of smaller buildings as to not make the taller buildings (which are not very tall) look small, or get lost in the shuffle. Essentially I have made a 'small-medium' city skyline look bigger because the concentration of buildings of that height are together.

The entirety of the city is surrounded by parks, some heavily timbered urban forests as a homage to Adelaide, South Australia, my inspiration for this city. I do agree that it requires more apartment buildings in places, I just have to get the mix right ;)

I hope to post updates :D
