I Present to you after over 20 hours of diving into the game files a new Unlocker.
When A few years ago some unlockers were released, noteable the Unlocker v1,v2,v3,v4 and v5 from Globexco and the different unlockers from k53. These are not maintained anymore and not very well supported by CXL 2012/Platinum. You won't get a crach, but not all unlocks work and you can easily get conflicts. Furthermore if you add them to your current game with the nice additions of here on XLN like CLM and other smaller unlockers you just make a mess of it with all those duplicates and conflicts.
This is way I created a new 'clean' unlocker. I started from zero and added all buildings to the game which are not yet unlocked by projects/mods here on XLN. So you won't find everything in here that previous unlockers unlocked, but when combined with the other nice additions here on XLN you will get a clean complete package.
Those old unlockers also had some buildings in the wrong category and/or just static landmark versions of buildings. This is not the case in this unlocker anymore, all buildings are fully functional.
This unlocker is compatible with all additions to XLN and I advice you to get these other great projects so you have everything unlocked
This unlocker is not compatible with the old unlockers by Globexco K53, Using them will not crash your game, but it will make a mess of your menus with duplicates. So doing this destroys the whole purpose of this mod.
- Makes some buildings only plopable. These are the buildings larger then 60x60, the 2 waterside buildings and the X-mas market
- Changes the name of the product packaging plant to Mineral Processing Plant (cosmetic change)
- Moves the Biscuit Factory from Heavy Industry to Manufacturing, Rene didn't like it in heavy industry, not withstanding that the MC's Biscuits are produced by heavy industries (see Heavy Industry T1)
- added a thumbnail for the medium distribution center, this one was missing
Be sure to remove the Biscuit factory from your city before upgrading the unlocker, it could cause a crash. Other buildings should be fine.
Only one small bug, one thumbnail had a wrong size (to large) causing it not to fit in the game menu, it's fixed now
Just overwrite the older version, completely compatible
