    Introduction

    Dämmerlicht means "twillight" in German.
The city has a population of 460,000 inhabitants.
This is an organic, circular city with a Medieval castle in the middle, located on the delta of the Ems river.
The city is located in Northwestern Germany, near the border with Holland and faces the North Sea.

This is a work in progress, so many parts of the city are still being edited.
Please, give it some time and focus on the ideas suggested instead of the, sincerely, many unifinished details.

    Thank you for reading :)

    Update 2

    Building up is proceeding.
Mainly focusing on finalising the ring road and 19th century part of the city.

As described in Update 1, the Ring road is sunken through this area and a "cut and cover" highway, under the Summer Palace Park to minimise any disruption.

    4/5,
Nice looking city, can't give it 5 stars yet since there is not much of a journal yet. It's joining the list for a possible feature on the home page

    4/5,
First of all, I really like that you thought of road infrastructure and the for european big cities typical ring road around the inner city. What I think is essential when trying to build a european style city is the diversity of buildings. The constant growth and decline of european cities over the ages created a high range of building types from different ages and architectural styles. Dont't misunderstand me, I don't want to tell you what to do, but using the same building too often in the direct vicinity destroys the realism you are trying to achieve I think (e.g. sight axis, curved roads, city core, high density housing blocks). Just my opinion ;)

Very well said and well thought. I 'll take it in consideration. I have even made some very clumsy repetitions in nearby blocks, still. . . :-) I 'll think of it very carefully. . . thank you

No problem :-) Give it some time. This is a live journal, so i add new material from time to time. It's a fairly new journal and needs time and effort to mature and fill up:-)
