    Katania was founded in late 19 century as the residence of the elites of Portugal and Spain which wanted to find a place with a new life.The city started with just few homes but in 20 years the population rise to 80.000.However during the 20th Century Katania was abandoned and the unemployment and the lack of investment perished Katania.The City was almost abandoned.
    In 1965 just 3500 inhabitants were residing in the city.
    In 1968 several architects and oligarchs came to Katania and saw the beauty of the Katanian land.

    The Palace of Katanian Duke is now the Palace of Justice of the city.

    The city started to grow again.In 1980 the population exceeded 100.000 and in 2000 800.000.
    Katania was a part of Brazil.But the difference of cultures and the ethnic difference(Katania's black population is just 2%) raised the Katanian Independence movement.

    The 8th of February of 2006 the mayor convocates referendum.After massive protests and the threat of Brazil to invade Katania in case of disobeying the rules the United Nations accused Brazil of going against the liberty international laws.In late 2006 the referendum takes place and the Independence option wins with 85% of votes.The Katanians celebrate their first elections in 2008.

    Wow. Your city has an interesting history, as well as some major population booms. Seven hundred-thousand people came within twenty years? I bet construction companies made a fortune because of your city!

    Anyway, your city has a pretty good layout, but I recommend that you use the [spoiler]text[/spoiler] more often, as well as some writing within those tabs.

    Overall, this is a great city journal. Keep up the good work.

    It looks a lot like my city, only that there's much repeated building. I loved the city and the mountains make a very nice urban landscape od your city. Of course, as my advice, dare to use mods. At first I was afraid, and then are very useful to give a personal touch to your city. Congrats :) 5/5
