CJ Kawashima City

The city of Kawashima is surrounded by lots of rural areas. Adjacent to the city there are two wide valleys: Hirodani 広谷 and Midoridani 緑谷.

Besides the north-western suburbs of Kawashima, the town of Hirodani 広谷街 is the largest settlement.


The town also has a noticable railway station:


From the highest hotel in Hirodani you can have a great view of the town's most important and well-known sight: Yamadera temple! The temples, shrines and gardens of Kawashima's surroundings will get a separate update

In the valley you will find the city's main waste treatment and recycling facilities:

Most of the valley is used for food production. In the foreground there's

In the most north-western corner is the village Kuramoto 倉本村 which is known for it's nice historic main street.

A small side valley is Moridani 森谷.



North of Kawashima city is Midoridani Valley:


Here, the largest settlement is Midoridani Town 緑谷街 with its famous Kawadera temple:
