I decided to remake the Kristiansand map due to Joakim16 mentioning that there was not much area for the airport and that I was not happy withthe way the Google map looked on the previous version. The roads do not line up properly with the hills and mountains as the map was not intended to have the Google overlay added.
I inputted the Google map directly into World Machine (instead of making a black and grey TIFF file) and adjusted the heights so I could make themountains and hills just about spot on.

Click the spoiler below to see more.

Put the .patch into the Pak folder of your Cities Xl
Google maps have GM in the patch name.

Build on the Google map and then swap it for the normal one when you have finished.
NOTE: To see the map overlay better you need your graphic settings to be on high and turn off the Atmospheric Display.

As normal, delete the trees in the water.
TIP: Right click the bulldozer thumbnail and move the slider up to increase the bulldozer size

Seems like people can not have a lot of options
on that map regarding liveable space, airports,
beneath others. You will need to almost copy
    actual Kristiansand...
Nonetheless, his map is very detailed and
you have some topographical highlights already given,
e.g. the little lake with all mountains around,
which gives a somewhat mystical atmosphere,
as if it was the bathtub of some Viking God :)
