  3. Its becoming harder each month to keep this site floating on the web. As Adsense money is now four months apart, I'm covering the rest of the monthly bills.

    - Guide for faster load of the game
    This is a technical guide on how to load Cities XL faster.
    To speed up CXL load, do the following:
    i) go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2012
    ii) delete dotnetfx.exe file and DirectX9 folder and vcredist_x86.exe
    iii) go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2012\Data\Interface\Video
    iiii) delete intro.bik, logofocus.bik and logomontecristo.bik files
    -> Launch CXL and experience faster load of the game.
    I used this speed up already in CXL2011 without any troubles. DirectX and .net framework installations aren't needed since you've installed the game. The removal of intro-videos is the real speed up - less burden for your graphics to load and display when loading the game. All files and folders mentioned here can be safely removed without the game ever needing them.
    This greatly fastens the game load time!
