It is an acceptable start, but I can tell that this is one of your first bigger cities and/or you are pretty new to the game. The OVERALL layout of your city is okay. Your low and high density areas are not overly mixed, and you have divided your industrial, commercial, and residential areas.
For starters, I recommend that you disable random building. For the creation of blocks (if I were you, then I'd avoid game blocks FOR THE MOST PART). As you can see in your own city, the zoning often causes duplication of many houses (which does not look very good), and houses that are smaller than the zone's base, like some of the 40x20 apartments that I saw in your city, will not be on the road. Last: in zoning, one cannot use certain types of road; in particular, the roads with parking on the side, grass-paved roads, and many other good ones.
Also, as I recommend that you draw most of your own roads, leaving giant gaps in the center do not look good-even with parks in the middle. There will be some gaps, but they will not be as big or as ugly. Here is a downtown example: http://i.imgur.com/LMYcusp.jpg
Here is a residential example: http://i.imgur.com/SZr3b62.jpg
Third, I recommend that you DON'T make your city completely end at a certain point. Not only would more roads leading into the country/rural roads look more realistic, but making the houses more and more spaced towards the outskirts of town would look pretty real. That is a great time for tree parks! Also, putting SOME farms nearer-to your city. I understand why you wouldn't put any on the hill, but some near-city farms on your flat areas would look nice: http://i.imgur.com/XDCN9wf.jpg - That area is still being developed.
Don't get me wrong: the underground highways do look cool. There still ought to be a few rural roads with farms/forests, though.
Last, I recommend that you make your city journals into actual journals, not compilations of pictures. Make up a story and some statistics, and add a few spoiler tabs, and WHAM! Try looking at some other city journals. If you'd like, then I can give you a guide on what to do. That does not \affect your city, but can make your city journal much more fun to read. Also, it will make it easier to read (one can close spoiler tabs, making the whole page shorter).
This is still better than most of my first cities. This review was meant to help you make cool, realistic cities sooner.
