This is a set of 4 different Power line styles that you can place in your cities. These power lines are decorative only. They are actually road bridges in disguise and are placed in the same way as you would place a road bridge. They are no collision and can be placed anywhere , however they are some limitations to placement near road junctions as it is using the bridge placement code.

Please note the High Voltage Pylon Model has a very high triangle count and like all bridges is only 1 Lod. If you place this model in significant numbers it will have an adverse effect on game performance. I tried to model it with transparency but the pylons dissappear when you zoom out. Therefore the whole pylon is modeled in 3d with a significant performance hit as a result. The other models are all fine with triangles counts comparable to all the custom bridges released recently.
Place your entire power line in one go , but use segments when encountering changes in elevation , so that that each pylon stays anchored to the ground.
The single pole Power lines can be snapped to go along pavements of the larger roads and avenues. Start the power line at a T junction and simply run it along the road and it will snap into place.
The Power lines have excessive height to them so you can make them go over T1 buildings. They are not high enough to go over T2 or T3 buildings.
Power lines of different styles can cross each other provided they are significantly different in height. Use the shift key when placing to change the height.
Notes for Modders:
If you wish to make your own power line pack using this mod as a template then feel free to do so. There is an almost limitless number of Power line designs to choose from.
First make sure you can build a simple Bridge. Refer to my tutorial Available Hereif you need help. The Power lines are built in exactly the same way , with a couple of changes to the .class files. Also each power line must have a minimum of 2 sgbins, one for the mid (repeating part) and the other model for the start/end model. The High Voltage Pylon model has 3 sgbins, one for the mid (set as a pier) , the wires model (set as deck) and another model (set as start.end). This was done to increase separation between the pylons to a realistic distance for the game.
The 2 differences are that in the Road class file, the links to the road layout files are removed or commented out and the road class file entrymust be changed toCode:<type>0</type>to avoid a division by zero error which causes the game to hang if left as default.Code:<type>ROAD</type>
