Adds Self-Illumination maps to vehicles\actors.
Brighter nightlights (x2.5), 2nd UV map channel illumination.
Allows interpolated alpha (semi-transparancy) for furniture objects.
Adds Self illumination maps support to roads.
No extra files required, include an _ill map with your model and in 3ds Max select Road from the Monte Cristo parameters drop down menu.
You don't need to place any additional files in your mod folder, the player must have the prerequisite patch installed.
Copy the .fx files to your 3ds max installation folder under eg.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2008\Montecristo\Viewer\data\Shader"
or for 3ds Max 2012
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2012\CitiesXL Exporter\Viewer\data\Shader"
Then select the correct Shader under the Monte Cristo Parameters in 3ds Max.
Don't forget to list the player version of these shaders as pre-requisites for your mods!!!
