Introducing Skamania, "a gem of the Pacific Northwest" with its vibrant economy based on the beauty of Lake Goose Hollow and the surrounding snowcapped mountains. City planners selected the location for Skamania at the headwaters of the White Salmon River that flows from the lake to the mighty Columbia River 45 miles downstream. The planned economic output of the city is water and holiday hotels. These resources will allow Skamania to grow into a vibrant city on the lake.
