É muito incrível a sua cidade, muito realista, e dá vontade de morar nela... Você é incrível... Impressionante seu trabalho.

Hey Inan, your city is amazing. You always put a lot of effort in your parks and decoration. I like Independence park and the street with all the trees around the park. Your airport is really big and theres enough space for landing. Your suburbs look nice and I think your inhabitants love to live there due to the nice houes and lots of grass and trees in this area. The university and the campus is nice as well and I would love to go to this university :-)

Author's Response
You are always welcome to this university :-) Thank you very much for your nice words! The suburbs indeed should intentionally look green and inviting to people to stay there. Exept thouse houses right at the end of the landing strips LOL :-D Thanks for the nice review! :-)

Nice city, congrats. I appreciate so much your city hall, airport and your university. Can you tell me how you did to pass the higway under the airport without create a tunnel? How did you to put the red trees in the city hall and another buildings closer? And what buildings use you in your university? Thanks and Great work!!!!!!!
-
Author's Response
Thank you! The Miralton Tunnel was a bit tricky, i just built some elevated streets (no bridges) above the highway and filled up the grass and concrete areas above the highway by keeping pressed Shift+Arrow Up. That gives the illusion of tunneling the runways. For the mods you are asking for i'll have to take a look. I'm going to tell you later (Or meanwhile you can ask in the forums). Thanks for reviewing :-)

Your city herself is a park!
I know you have different cities for your republic so this capital doesn't need to look like metroplis. But still I wish to see more of her downtown area. You know political issues require infrastructures. However, since it's the game, just take it 50% seriously :)-
Author's Response
Thx! :-)
I created a boring capital intentionally. I'll take more pics from downtown with aerials and streetviews, when the city is completed. There is infrastructure actually, a large airport, 3 highways, trains, underground and bus. Of course it's very safe and clean too. It has to be as a capital :-)

Your city is really cool! Your prime minister does a good job running your country (you know what I am talking about).

Very imaginative and realistic city design and planning. I appreciate the balance you've struck between urban development and rural lifestyle. I do have one question: can you give me some pointers on how you constructed the pedestrian overpass at Independence Park? I think I have all the pedestrian path mods, but I haven't been able to get my pedestrian bridges and stairways to work the way you have.
-
Author's Response
That pedestrian bridge is a mod:

I think the street layout in your other cities look a bit more natural to me. I love the way this city sprawls out though. I don't know if I'd call it 'reality' with the farmlands, as it's almost impossible with the lot size limits, but I love it nonetheless. As always, very nicely done.
I am doing a 'county' map using Halifax that will have a bunch of smaller towns in a low density, American type setting. Your cities are always a good go to for inspiration and research on good building technique, to me.-
Author's Response
Thank you for the compliments, Kurtis! :-)
Indeed the lot size could be bigger, so i had to improvise a bit with the zoning...
Good luck for your county, i'm looking forward to it :-)

Wow, this city is really awesome, I don't know where to start..
Nice road layout, beautiful parks and a realistic looking not-so-high-rise-Downtown. I'd love to see a shot of Downtown from ground level. Maybe from the Government Avenue or from the Central Street?
I'm a bit skeptical regarding the Statue of Liberty. Don't get me wrong, you did a good job intergrating it to your city but it's a thing of personal taste. I like her the most where she stands in real life.
The airport looks really good, too. But I think the tower close to the runway looks a bit lost. Anywhere, good work, even though I would not want to live at the end of the shorter runway.. :D
I also have to say "thanks for inspiring me": I've had some problems with the treelines at the mountains. But I like the way you did it and I think I will try to "steal" this idea. :-)
There're still many other City Journals I have to see but I think this one has the potential to be one of my favorite cities round here. Looking forward to see more!-
Author's Response
Thank you for the nice review! I'm always honored hearing my city can be a favourite...
More pictures will come, the city isn't finished yet, so for aerials or streetlevel pics it's to early. You can see empty landscape and gaps here and there.
The Statue of Liberty actually is a sign of the fictional country, where all my cities are located. You'll find it in each of my cities (exept Cuva Cavelio, it doesn't fit in there for sure).
I explained the airports runway-problem, so it's actually not a coincidence :D
Nice you find some inspiration here. Take as much as you want :-)
