You could create an elevated bridge-based railway ;)
Of course, you could raise the ground an the add the stations on the same level as the bridge-railway. And then take some airport mods to make it look like a real elevated train station ;)

Really good work so far (y) I would say that you should focus on the coastline such that you can get some nice sea level screenshot from afar. Also, if you add some nice parks alongside the coast, it may be good for the "Best Parks and Plazas" category ;)

Also, the harbour deserves some redefinement, maybe look at some city journals to get some inspiration :)

@daochunhan, maybe you want to add a system of two plateaus, where you have the harbour area on the lower plateau, and the city itself on the upper plateau, and then you connect these plateaus with some roads ;)

Here some suggestions for the harbour area:
City of New Hastings by @Inan
[IMG]

City of Arenzano by me:
You can see that I created a lower plateau for the harbour and added some long cury roads and bridges to connect the two parts:

City of Saint Catherine by @nicknick

I hope this helps :)
= 42057] @daochunhan [/ USER],也许你想添加一个两个高原系统,在高原上有一个港口区域,这个城市本身就在高原上,然后你把这些高原连接到一些道路上 ;)

这里对海港地区提出一些建议:
[新增黑斯廷斯市] @Inan [/ USER]

ÿea it help me a lot,but i stop the project for now, couse i have to finish a building mod,and its hard i read the English pdf.;)

Wow, terrific skyline! I recommend to focus on screenshot-fitting areas when it comes to filling the map. You won't be able to decorate every single district in an extensive manner, so look at the parts that you want to present to the community and the jury, and then fill everything within the screenshot-range :)

I found out that the railway in the middle of the city is ugly, so I decided to build a sunken railway trench. Here is the result.

@East Pavilion-er Is too simple. Kipate has posted some pictures above. See how many details those cities have? Try to put more details in your city.

A "you can do it" is always more encouraging, don't you think? ;)

The purpose of this pic is showing my railway trench. The city actually has a lot of details. Wait and see in the competition!

I wanted to say that your railway trench is very simple. You built a railroad and the empty space filled with forest plaza. We want to see something complex. I hope the pictures below inspire you and the new version of the railway trench will amaze us. cxl_screenshot_test_3.jpg cxl_screenshot_test_4.jpg "you can do it"

Actually I came up with another plan after looking at Sacramento's "Railyards Project (The Railyards | Sacramento, CA)." Then I decided to build a SOHO/mixed use zone with mid-rise offices and utilities, with some rest areas in between. Good ides? Bad idea? I don't know. This competition is largely a huge urban planning/construction experiment for me.

Current progress with the mid-density office zone:

The railway trench is mostly utilized and the offices buildings look much nicer than the original. I don't know how to deal with the south station, so I still left it as vanilla. Any suggestions?
