    I got a response from Avast Technical Support

    I asked what is causing the XLN website to be blocked?

    Their response:

    “This page is blocked because of: xlnation.net/dl/d615f3ed-8f0a/winx%2bclub%2b2.exe”

    I asked, exactly what does this program do?

    “Unfortunately we can't tell you what this virus is doing. The administrator should know the reason for the blocking of the website.”

    There you have it. I hope this info helps.

    I read in another thread that you are providing the new server and administering it as well. I appreciate what you are doing to keep XLN alive and wish you much success.

    Not sure what to say, the server was compromised due to poor maintenance of the software supporting it. I new box was purchased, a brand new OS installed and new web software installed. Not much else I can do
    .

    I would like to officially say that XLNation is "done." The site is fully configured with no major changes expected at this point. The migration of mods continues and is about 90% complete. Thanks to everyone that helped out and continues to help out.

    We have a stable platform, with modern software supporting a great website. I hope to drastically improve the "reputation" of XLNation as a reliable source for all things CitiesXL.

    Its a simple mp3 file that can be easily replaced. Though this will open another can of worms with everyone debating the merits of various mp3 files. (Time to put on the Flame Retardant Suit again)

    Before XLNation migrated to the new XLNation if you did a google search for Cities XL, XLNation did not show up until page 5. As of today XLNation now shows up on page 2 and is slowly climbing higher on that list. Now that is good SEO in action folks. Kind of sad the premier resource for Cities XL was way down on page 5.

    Avast will continue to block XLNation until Hyperwolf stops using afraid.org for the domain DNS servers.

    Just to let everyone know who uses Avast Antivirus that xlnation.net is no longer being blocked when clicking the link in your browser or in the CitiesXL website under the “Community” tab. This problem is now fixed.

    I added a new resource today - I wanted it to be under the "transportation " prefix as it is a road , but the only available option was "building" . PLease can you add back the ability to choose the other tags
