I think the Add Resouce button disappear as soon as go into any category. I swear to god that it didn't happened minutes ago.

    Here it is:

But if you go to XL Exchange, it disappears:

Nevermind, it appears when I click on a specific. catherogy. I was going crazy :p

    And just a minor thing:

The search box seems displaced or something.

    For resources Compatibility:

We should really add an extra for CXL Platinum , just so new gamers know and stop asking questions

well not really I guess you could change it to somethng like CXL2012/Platinum
    if it fits,
Platinum is the same game/engine etc, just been re-launched with new maps and 50 or so new building models.

About the whole edit thing: will that also apply to OPs? Because if you can't edit the first post of a long topic to reflect a change (as with modding theads and whatnot), that would suck.

Not sure what an OP is but the Resource Owner can edit his main page as many times as they want, there is also an update history option as well

Ok. However, if I understood correctly about resources, they don't include forum topics, is that right?

The website framework is now in place. Today I added a "home" page. Moderators can add featured Posts, Mods, or City Journals to the slider. The slider only holds 5 slides. The oldest is automatically removed when you add a new one.

The featured news items (below the slider) are added automatically when certain criteria is meet. A max of 5 are displayed at a time, new ones queue automatically and they are removed automatically after 2 weeks. Moderators can also add new ones, and manually remove featured items as needed.

Only one file can be uploaded which is fine for one map but if you have a pack of maps then the only way is to rar or zip them and uploaded it. I can guarantee there will be members complaining that they don't want to download ten maps in a rar/zip and just want one map.

I just uploaded a map and notice its got to be approved. I also can't edit the icon (which I forgot  )

EDIT: Forgot to mention. We don't have an area like the old XLN for the Installation Pre-requisite's :(

Yeah I saw that, it was a configuration error I just fixed. That feature is not implemented yet in Resource Manager though clients are asking for it on the support forum

Cheers. Yeah I searched about it and saw the discussions about having multiple files. Hopefully it will get implemented.
As for the Installation Pre-requisite's, I guess we will just have to get use to adding them to the end of our resource post.

BTW you can use the Update Resource Option to add additional files it seems, You may want to look into that as a possible workaround

I probably missing the bleeding obvious.

    Example.

We upload a mod. version xln_1.0.patch

How do we upload a new version xln.1.1.patch?

I tried but cant see it. Can we also upload and keep all versions?
