CXL 2012 Computer Died During Game Play Now...

    Citiesxl was working great until my laptop died during game play. Now, I can open up Citiesxl and get to the menu screen. Whenever I choose play the game suddenly crashes. I've never had this problem before and I'm unsure why. I don't have the game playing in the background and I've restarted my computer in attempts to fix the problem but to no avail. Is there any explanation for this and how can I fix it?

    I did the tutorial but that didn't help. Strangely, I cannot find my log, either. I do have all hidden folders and files being shown yet I can't find it. Any other suggestions? I appreciate all the help so far!

    Not sure where the Platinum one is though. Possibly in the same place.
