    Have you added any mods?
    This bit here could be from an XXL mod. Not 100% sure at the moment. Recovering from a very long walk I did yesterday which I'm not use to so not thinking to much.

    The rest of the entries are most likely caused as the game crashed.

    I've added some mods but the game has been starting to crash a long time ago.
    What's strange is that the game crash when it's loading and the loading bar is on three quarters. I also use 4 save files. Over the file I loaded the game successfully I never save and over the others I save every 3-4 minutes. After 10-15 minutes of play, the buildings in the game become blurry and if I try to save the game it crash and I can not load from that save file. I have to load an older save file. But sometimes it happens (log file is from that period) that I can not load the game from any save file. The only solution I fond is to empty the shadercache folder enter the game load another city or empty map, wait a few moments quit to the main menu and then i can load from almost all 4 files. Also the city has a population of over 6 million and the in game map is built in proportion of 90%.

    Good chance it's just XL getting buggy due to the size and population. I'm starting to get slow downs with my competition city on XXL with only 30,000 odd people.

    If saves are getting corrupted all the time, try checking your hard drive. Not sure what programs you have but I use Hard Disk Sentinel.
    You should be able to find a free/open source hard drive checker. If your drive has maxed out on bad sectors it can cause problems.
    Also check if the drive is fragmented a lot.

    To help with the slow downs of XL when I used it, I found going back to the menu and loading your city again speeds it up. You shouldn't have to load a different city. Just the one your working on.

    Also double check that you have no XXL mods in your paks folder

    Thx for help, i will check for xxl mods and if the game is on ssd i still have to optimize the hard drive?
    is the only solution to load any saved game. if i don't load other city first i get this error xl crash.jpg

    Most XXL mods will have XXL in the patch file name. Some will work in XL but others won't. If you have any, you will need to check the description on the download page in the resource area.
    Every mod I download gets put into it's own folder under which game it's for. I even save the html page sometimes. Much easier to track issues later doing it this way.

    What is this shader cache you speak of? I think my finished city is going to be well over 1m, any resources I can free up are worthwhile.

    But i don't know the technical reason. Many crashes have been fixed by emptying the folder.
    If you start to have lag try to zoom in and for me it helps to pause the game build 5 - 6 buildings, play, let the building develop then pause again and repeat.
