Yes, dudes around the Euphrates... and I always thought their best idea was to cut wood so angrily
that it became a wooden wheel :D

Little known fact: the first wheel was actually a hobbit door that fell of its hinges. Their race became extinct after humans realized they could utilize the already crafted "round things" as they were called back in the day for more sensible uses.

The hobbits could never adapt to the superior square door and, therefore, froze to death.

Hey there^^ I've been watching the videos of the game and read the developer diaries and it looks awsome! The only thing I would like to see is more customization. What do I mean by this?
Don't make default complete buildings for everything.
For example the harbour. Its a whole building with no options of changing it (and its very small to be honest). Why not, instead of that, make 10 different pieces that you can combine to create your own harbor? Look at cities XL harbor parks the awsome modders of this community created. They have like 20 different pieces, but you can create anything, from small town harbour to a huge industrial harbor, just by fitting in together the pieces. Same for other things too, mainly public properties, like schools, airports, hospitals, police, fire station. They dont have to be 20 pieces, but even like 5. Amd when put all together work exactly as the harbour building you already have in the game.

That's just my grain of sand. I know it won't have this on launch, but I think it would be an awsome addion to the game in the future. More creativness, more unique cities.

    Have a great day all

I also look forward to another city builder the more the better I say.
Though not very nice MrX. bagging another company. I think FHI are actively bug fixing and adding many new features in latest version of their series. Can't really complain to much about that.

The silence, in general, from FHI is deafening. They need their own TotallyMoo to reach out on the Steam Forums and other XL forums.

This is getting to the point where I might need to rebrand myself into correctly spelling my nickname.

It's the Catalan influence where I live, they like their double 'l's

Add to that the British influence that makes me automatically try and spell things correctly :)

Of course if you wanted to be really modern you could change it to TotesMoo

I've seen some videos of cities: skylines and I have a doubt, do you think that the game will have day and night? I didn't see night pictures or images on the videos.

No Day/Night planned for launch according to what as appeared on the Forum.

I think the day's pass to quickly for that to be practical.

Moving forward post Launch I've no idea. I know for myself I'd like a chance to see the city at night even if it was just a simple view switch where time still passes as normal but it's night.

having no day/nightcycle saves a lot of time for modders, no more illumination map needed :D
well yeah, i can deal with this.. i never used the night-view mode (except for testing mods)
and maybe it is possible to add this feature later on
