CXL 2012 Game Crashes After Main Menu

    I've had this problem for quite some time after my computer lost power while i was playing. Ever since then It crashes. I unistalled, reinstalled the game and moved my mods back in hopes to resolve the issue. So I'm a little lost...

    Did you do a backup of the whole CitiesXL folder in C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Focus Home Interactive ?

    I have had a similar error when I only backed up part of the CitiesXL folder and the game was looking for other files that I had missed.

    Not that I remember. Should I just clear out that folder?

    So I'm guessing you just reinstalled and did not touch the folder in C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Focus Home Interactive?
    I'm not 100% sure but the reinstall may of changed some of the gamesaves.
    If you don't want to keep any old cities then you could just clear it out and start new.

    Yeah, I think I'll do that. I can live with it. I'll delete the folder and report back
