Is it possible that someone can do a Google Overlay of the San Juan, PR map? I wish I knew how to do these myself. I tried using the guide and screwed it all up.

A google overlay can only be done on a new map and also only for XL 2012 and earlier.

Interesting. I have XXL...and I have a few Google Overlay maps that work just fine. The Bristol UK map is an example.

There is no way (yet) to do overlays in the new CitiesXXL Map Editor, but XL 2012 and earlier maps work just fine in XXL.

Yeah the XL2012 google overlay maps will work in XXL. You can't add a google overlay to new maps in the XXL map editor.
I tried looking for the map you mentioned but couldn't find it/ It's probably a newer one made in the XXL map editor. If you wanted the same map with a google overlay then it would have to be made in the old editor. You would loose a bit of quality and also have no control over the trees.

If you were looking at editing a map, then that can't be done. Only the original map maker can edit etc... as they have the original files to build the map.
