List Of Available Buildings

    Here is the official list of buildings which can be used in CoXL. A one means that the building can only be placed once in the entire world or only obtainable by winning a contest, a two means that it can be placed only once per country (but without having to win anything), a three means that it can be used as many times as you want. Tip: you can use ctrl + g to find a specific building in the list or all buildings made by a specific modder. Most of the links aren't working but some may, so I just added them to the list.

    If a building is not on the list, you're free to ask here.     We don't want you to be searching on this list for hours; this list is only needed when you place a famous landmark/blueprint or when you're planning to make a skyline. Nearly all small civic, religious and residential buildings can be built freely, nearly all mega-skyscrapers and blueprints can be built only once. It's not a big problem if you accidentally place a building twice in your country when you can only place it once, but try to avoid it.

    What about the landmarks that come with latin pack (Arzobisobado De Lima and the Limean cathedral)??

    Umm what exactly is CoXL? God I feel stupid. Also all those links are broken at XLNation, we are no longer XLNation.net and also a lot of titles may have changed when they were migrated in 2014

    Well, CoXL was the Aztec God of Urban Planning...

    Okay, to be serious, he is still worshipped :p

    Okay okay... well, to sum it up shortly, it is a game centered about
    natural growth. In 1989, a group of scientists found a way to travel
    through space within no time, and they handed it over to humanity for free.
    Of course, it did not work out as they had planned:

    There was a planet, called Alpha Centauri, and it became clear that this
    planet was habitable for human beings. The scientists had wished for free
    settlements there, but the powerful people on earth want to keep their power even
    on the new planet, hence they used their influence to have some kind of first
    service when it came to travelling there (well, one still needed to build some machines).

    So in 1989, the first settlement missions sent there were preselected workers for the most
    powerful companies on earth, loyal people who would not rebel and would work for their
    earthen employers even on the new planet. These people were sent to the Western Continent
    of Alpha Centauri.

    In 2014 finally, access to Alpha Centauri was given to all people on earth,
    and many took the chance to escape earthen problems. Most of them
    went to the already settled western continent, but a large minority decided to
    settle on the other two continents. And this is where it comes to Countries XL.

    So the participants of CoXL are developing the new cities of Alpha Centauri,
    of course with some restrictions, as it should stay in reslistic manners...

    I hope that made clear a lot...

    And I thought it was CountriesXL he did not understand...

    Countries XL isn't active anymore though. You could try one of these:
    • Le Monde GC
      • In French
      • Almost the same concept
    • Europa Universalis or something similar
      • Mostly politics and war
      • You can play online and offline
      • Covers cultures, religions, trade, internal stability, technology etc.
      • No custom worlds, only custom countries
    • An online geopolitical simulator
    Or you could organize something with some others here
