    Hi there, boys and girls, I just wanted to share with you my current "trying"

    First building is complete, just need to create some custom furniture and add them to layout file :coffee:

    Nice building, however I would advice reworking windows a bit, maybe try to use dark blue instead.

    Actual real life pictures are not the best choice for windows because lower floors windows are a lot darker comparing to upper floors due to the viewer's perspective. Lower floor windows reflect ground structures, upper floors windows reflect the sky.
    You could try to find the best fitting color to be used for all windows.

    That's why I'm using that color :D I wouldn't like to use a dark color

    I have made the layout file like 5 times in a row and still no trees...

    Could it be the game, 3D Max or the layout creator or even the OS? :unsure:

    Since I cannot make it work I'll replace all trees with custom furniture, it won't be the same but it's be something

    did you use layoutfile creator for max2012 or set it up manually?

    Just the plug and a tree, and doesn't work. Furniture, actors and custom furniture works but trees...
    Should I extract tree models from the game, renamed them and use them as custom content?

    I have done some layout files for test before and it worked, btw

    yeah your layout file seems to be fine..
    some ideas:
    - check if the tree accidentially is inside your building
    - try pharmists tree bug fix
    - try out another type of tree

    yeh trees and bushes is buggy as hell. try a couple below that i know do work without any tree bug fixes.
