    Patch #3 release notes (26/02/2015):
    - .....
    - ......
    - ......
    - Added a hide/unhide button for the building filter panel.
    - ......
    - .......

    Button, what button?
I have no such toggle button ...nor a building filter panel (was there before this new patch).
All other items listed in this new patch seem to be working just fine.

This is because you've the Community mod installed, it's not yet updated with the changed made to the game code and this is why you don't see it.

In more detail, it's because the latest update and the CM override the same gfx files (for the interface), the CM gets loaded later then the default (updated) game files and thus overwrites these changed.

So you will have to revert to an older game version, uninstall CM or wait for an updated CM.

I can wait. Altiris has done such a great job, I've no real reason to complain. Only used the filter panel for a few things anyway. Actually, I'll be glad to have a way to turn the thing off and not have to move it to the side every time I open a city and I see no reason it will affect any work in progress.
    Thanks for the info.
