    Seems like you have a corrupted save. Try this method I found. Works for all Windows after Vista.

    1. Go to your solo folder ( Should be --> C:\YOUR USER FILE\AppData\Local\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2011\live\offline\solo )
    2. Right click the corrupted folder (for example, "solosaveregion1map1")
    3. Click "Properties"
    3. Click the "Previous Versions" tab
    4. Choose a folder from a date before it was damaged, corrupted by save, etc.
    5. Click "Restore" and you should have your city back good as new!!

    @skullz613 hi. I'm using Windows 10
    Thank you for the suggestions. I did everything you said, the corrupted folder, it is "solosavregion8map73"
    I just saw that there was no previous versions of the "solosavregion8map73" folder when I clicked on the tab.
    Is there another backup method for it?

    There is a way to recover using an older save file and the tutorial is in the resource area.
    Tutorial - How to solve corrupt save without backup

    Might pay to turn on the settings in Windows so you can revert a file/folder if needed.
