this is a bit confusing since the city is probably northern european
it cant be the on the baltic so that rules out Sweden,Denmark,Finland,Poland,Latvia,Lithuania,Estonia and possibly Russia..
its not in germany,the benelux or the british isles..and definetly is on a sea or ocean crossing out all the landlocked european states..
which leaves only france and norway
but maybe i went completely wrong with the northern half of europe...
