    Okay, crap, I hate when it's my turn,
    I always need ages to finding suting cities
    and then need ages to find good spots not
    making it a total give-away...

    Anyways, here is my try:
    So I tried to give you the most spectacular
    building of the city, meaning that it is not Paris
    for sure :) and neither Rome nor London nor Brussels...
    and so on, no capital city...

    Am I stupid! Of course this is not Bordeaux.
    Palais Saint-Georges, Rennes, Brittany, France but not completely ;) (Brittany is the province with the highest risk of split with France)

    If that's Newcastle-upon Tyne, I'll personally move there and search for that
    place...
    I rather think the Mystery City was located somewhere
    on the continent, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and maybe, maybe even
    parts of Eastern European countries...

    Well the first thing that comes in mind for me was UK, maybe because
    of that red orange-roofed building at the foreground.
    But yeah, this is a tough one to figure out.
